Miami-based Surfaces, Inc., one of America’s premier producers and suppliers of glass tile, has announced its new glass wall tile collection, Earth Blend.      

Like small precious gems showing their natural beauty though the roughness of rocks, the Earth Blend Collection was designed to surprise one’s vision, mixing the clean modern look of clear glass with the natural textures of limestone. The result is a glass/stone mosaic bringing subtle elegance in an unpretentious way. The tiles come in four different colors and two different designs, traditional 1˝x1˝ square chip mosaics in12˝x12˝ sheets and multi-sized linear pattern in 12˝x13˝ sheets.

Mixing materials, colors and textures in a single mosaic tile give a high level of detail and texture that is sure to be the center of conversation, as is the case in Surface’s Earth Blend Collection. Readily available worldwide, limestone is durable and long-lasting, making it a stone of choice for many years.

Limestone has been used for centuries in architecture, as far back as the Egyptian Pyramids, Roman aqueducts and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Paris.
